Amsterdam snowboarding holidays may not spring immediately to mind when planning a winter break but the city just so happens to be home to Europe's largest indoor snowboarding centre. Located just outside Amsterdam, the sports centre, complete with real snow, boasts two slopes - one of 230 metres and a shorter, slower slope of 100 metres. Those enjoying a snowboarding holiday in Amsterdam who are more experienced can take advantage of the jumps on offer while those who are less at home on the slopes can book a lesson. Be warned, however, it's a chilly environment and compulsory to bring warm clothes and gloves. You will also not be allowed on the slopes wearing shorts or t-shirts so make sure you come prepared if you want to fully enjoy an Amsterdam snowboarding holiday.
