Antigua is not a cheap holiday destination even in the summer off peak season. However, there are a few low budget places to stay. A group sharing self catering accommodation in Jolly Harbour or room only at Nelson’s Dockyard in low season would be affordable. Camping is prohibited. Local transport or a shared taxi is a cheap way to discover Antigua and there are many places to eat and drink at very reasonable prices.
