Antigua has excellent dive sites for beginners and experienced divers. Antigua is blessed with clear waters; there are few exceptions, warm sea temperatures, no strong currents and an island surrounded by coral reefs and many wrecks. The ideal diver’s playground. Some hotels and resorts provide equipment and instruction and there are diving centres mostly in St. John’s, English Harbour and Jolly Harbour which operate dive tours, equipment and training. Also many of the boat and sail tour operators, especially the eco tours, combine scuba diving stops as part of their tour programme.
