Family Holiday in Athens, Greece

If you have very young children, Athens may not be the best destination for your family holiday. Athens is short on open spaces and attractions aimed principally at children, and the busy roads, noise and crowds may be stressful. However, there are places to escape the city hubbub and enjoy a family holiday in Athens, especially if you have slightly older children. The National Gardens have a playground, duck-ponds and lawns where you can enjoy a picnic, and there a few museums which children will enjoy.
