Nightlife in Azores, Portugal

Nightlife in the Azores is much more private than typical European holiday spots, meaning that locals tend to have their own dinner parties rather than go out to bars or night clubs, which exist but not in any great number. During festivals, Azorean towns do tend to have a bit more of a public nightlife, so if you are interested in carnivals and street parties, time your visit to each town in accordance with the local festivals.
