Water Skiing in Azores, Portugal

Praia da Vitória on Terceira island offers good conditions for water skiing and other water sports as does Praia Formosa on Santa Maria. However, despite the Azores’ deep blue waters and beautiful coastline, water skiing is not terribly popular. This is perhaps because the inhabitants would like to preserve the peaceful and natural splendor that the Azores has to offer.
