Being a luxury holiday spot, the Bahamas do not really have inexpensive hostels or backpacker accommodation as is seen in many places in the world. There are, however, some relatively cheap guesthouses in the more remote places on the islands, such as Hoopers Bay Villas on Great Exuma, Surfer’s Manor and the especially inexpensive Surfer's Haven Guesthouse (from under 14€ for a private room in the low season), both in Gregory Town on Eleuthera.
