Partying from dusk until dawn is the norm in Barcelona, and the nightlife is second to none for a party holiday in Barcelona or for singles who want to meet likeminded people. For a party holiday in Barcelona, the city offers an easy, carefree nightlife all year round. The mild climate combined with the attractions of hundreds of bars and cafes with regular live entertainment ensure that this is a city which never sleeps. Clubs and discos tend to open their doors between 11pm and 1am, although the dance floors are often empty until 2 or 3am. Barcelona’s club scene is divided into two distinct seasons: the summer, and the rest of the year. Summer clubs include outdoor terraces, some are on the beachfront or have a sea view, and some even have a pool. From October onwards, the entertainment is more orientated around the dance floor. Free entry passes are offers for some of the biggest clubs in bars and shops around the city which are a great way to save money as some clubs charge up to €18 just to get in. Partying does literally continue until dawn with some venues staying open until 7am.
