You’ll be able to go white water rafting just a short ride away from Beirut. The Litani River rafting camp is only an hour and a half from Beirut, and is known for its exciting white water rafting and rapids. Slightly further afield, the Al Assi River in Hermel is roughly two and a half hours from Beirut. This offers an adrenaline-filled white water rafting experience: on a 7km ride, white water rafters follow the white stream for just under three hours, crossing 3 waterfalls along the way. Expect to pay around €60 for a guided trip and overnight stay at a rafting camp.
