Whale Watching in Bermuda
Rating (9/10)
From January to December
Bermuda itself is a volcanic island with notorious and dangerous coral reefs so whales are not usually visible from the island. However, further out to sea it is possible to see Humpback whales near Bermuda on their migration north. During March and April the Bermuda Exploration Underwater Institute (BEUI) organises whale watching trips from Bermuda to see these spectacular mammals on their trip north. Tickets for non-BEUI members on a whale watch trip run about $90 per person. It can be cold on these whale watching cruises so be sure to take a windproof jacket and pack a lunch – don’t forget your camera.
