Geography of Bermuda

Bermuda is actually an archipelago some 140 small islands hence its official name - The Bermudan Islands (or Somers Islands). The islands are located some 1,770 kilometres off the east coast of the United States in the North Atlantic Ocean. The numerous islands that make up Bermuda are linked by a network of bridges and have a total land mass of just 53.3 square kilometres. The main island in Bermuda is Hamilton and the only fresh water on the islands is rainwater.
