Party Holiday / Singles Life in British Columbia, Canada
Rating (8/10)
British Columbia is a great province for single's nightlife. Considered North Hollywood, Vancouver and Victoria are fantastic cities for planning a night out. From all-night club hopping to pub crawls, live music venues, lounges, comedy clubs and gay and lesbian clubs BC has something for everyone. Weekends are busiest but the nightlife is still vibrant and often cheaper during the weekdays. British Columbia also enjoys an avid theatre and cinema crowd. Singles in BC looking for restaurants, bars, and cafés can head to the downtown commercial districts along the waterfront. In Victoria there are a number of brew pubs such as Spinakers Gastro Brewpub or Canoe Brewpub. If you’re single and looking for crowded dance floors and thumping music you won’t need to look hard or go far: In Victoria (not known for its party nightlife but there are some good bars and pubs found around the city) try Legends. Best places to go in Vancouver are the concentrated areas of Hamilton St or Davie St. Try Honey or Republic. Blues fans should head to the Yale in Granville. Clubs and bars don't close until 3 am.

British Columbia is a highly recommended destination for single girls. British Columbia offers single girls plenty of options whether its celebrity hang outs like Whistler or a wilderness escape in the North. Find coffee shops to drink lattes, read a book, relax and people watch in Victoria. There are also lots of art galleries in Victoria and museums such as world renown British Columbia Museum to help fill up an afternoon. In Vancouver head to historic Gastown or fascinating Chinatown and stop in as many boutiques as you like. Vancouver has no shortage of restaurants or shops. In fine weather spend the day walking around Stanley Park taking in the totem poles and seawall. Single girls in BC looking for outdoor adventures will not be disappointed. You can easily tour the pristine mountains, many lakes and lush valleys British Columbia has to offer. BC has excellent beaches. The nightlife in BC usually starts in pubs or after going out for a meal. If you’re single and looking for something more lively British Columbia offers live music and plenty of bars and clubs in all its cities and towns. You're best bet in Vancouver is to head to Hamilton or Davie St. Touring the cities or walking out on the streets as a single girl is safe but at night it might be best to catch a taxi (which are reasonably priced) or take public transportation. Keep to well lit areas and don’t go down any dark streets or alleys. Avoid beggars and always carry a map, your accommodation address and if not a mobile phone at least enough money to use a payphone.

Single Scene for guys in British Columbia
British Columbia offers a great single scene for men. Aside from sightseeing, art galleries and museums British Columbia is a “macho” guys’ dream with plenty of sports, eateries and breweries. For a sports night out guys in BC can cheer the home town ice hockey team Vancouver Canucks at GM Place or catch a BC Lions football game. If you’d rather be partaking in the action there are unrivalled golf clubs; ski hills, mountain biking and cycling routes, hiking trails and water sports such as kayaking and white water rafting available in the province. At night, single guys in Vancouver and Victoria will find there are too many bars and pubs to choose from, but popular choices show live sports on big screen TV’s, serve Canadian pub food with micro brewed ales and have games such as pool tables or darts on offer.
