From January to December

Sailing in British Columbia is fun and completely accessible; the province enjoys many enthusiastic and organized sailing communities. You don’t need to own your own boat to experience the amazing waters within and surrounding British Columbia. You can rent a boat for a couple of hours or even a week. Take a sailing lesson from any one of British Columbia's many clubs (BC Sailing in Richmond is the provincial sport authority for sailing and is affiliated with the Canadian Yachting Association and the International Sailing Federation. BC Sailing is also a member of Sport BC). In the summer months courses are designed to suit beginners up to advanced sailors. Try the Land's End Sailing School on Bowen Island. Sailors in British Columbia can enjoy mountain scenery and stunning coastline and hundreds of islands. There are over 80 marine parks along British Columbia’s coast. Most clubs have harbour space on offer and storage available for small boats available April to October.
