The British Virgin Islands are renowned for their pristine beaches, clear waters and water sport activities and there is not much else for visitor's to do there. Tortola is the most developed and diverse of the British Virgin Islands, but even this hub of tourism does not offer much for culture vultures to sink their claws into. There are several museums and art galleries offering an insight into the past and local culture though the exhibitions are modest.
