Holidays for singles, or "the lone ranger" as they have been dubbed by travel operators, are increasing and city breaks are the best choice of destination. Singles couldn't do much better than a trip to Budapest, the city of spas where they can explore, relax and party to their hearts desire. As a party holiday Budapest has a host of bars and clubs where singles can listen to live music or party the night away into the early hours of morning. Hotels, apartments and guestrooms charge a single person supplement, whereas youth hostels are fixed price per room and a great way for people travelling alone to meet others. The streets are generally safe though pickpockets and street scammers are on the rise.
