Family Holiday in Cannes, France

Cannes is a wonderful destination for a family summer holiday. The city attracts visitors in their thousands from late spring right up to the autumn season. As a coastal city, Cannes has some lovely beaches, many of which are privately owned but there are public beaches as well. The shopping and dining scenes are rich and varied, and there is a magnificent collection of museums, art galleries, interesting buildings and outdoor activity opportunities. Children will find plenty to occupy their time making Cannes a perfect family holiday destination. The only slight disadvantage of visiting Cannes in the summer is that it can be very busy at this time. Those who want a quiet break with their family should consider visiting in late spring or early autumn, as the weather is still extremely pleasant but there are fewer crowds.
