St John and St Anthony Festivals

There are several Cape Verde holidays throughout the year, especially since every island or municipality has its own patron saint, and the feast day of each patron saint is celebrated.

In May and June there are the traditional festivals of St John and St Anthony on the islands of Brava, Santo Antao and Sao Nicolau.
