When to go to Caribbean

The best time to go on a Caribbean Beach holiday is probably December to May, although if you want to save on costs then May is the optimum time to visit as the weather (usually) remains fine while accommodation charges only increase between December and April. The hurricane season runs from August until October and the rainy period lasts from May to December. As the weather is so good in December, the Christmas and New Year period is the busiest and most costly time to travel to and stay in the Caribbean, alongside Easter. Note that many Caribbean resorts, restaurants and other services may be limited or shut down completely between September and the end of November. Note also that sand drifting across from Africa can create hazy conditions mid-May to mid-June.
