Suggested Itinerary

Day 1: Fly in and settle down in your local accommodation before you start, chances are you may have had to endure quite a grueling flight. Start by visiting the King Hassan II Mosque. The largest in Morocco and the third largest in the world, with the tallest minaret in the world, it is one of the two main mosques in Morocco open to non-muslims. Finish the day by visiting the Turkish baths, before ending it with some authentic Moroccan cuisine.

Day 2: This is the day for seeing all the sights of this wonderful city. Old Medina, north of of the Place des Nations Unies is a small traditional walled town. If you are in town it's worth a visit, but it's nothing compared to the glories of Fes or Marrakesh. Then head to the Corniche, a neighborhood on the ocean, west of the Hassan II Mosque. Along the Boulevard de l'Ocean Atlantique are many newer, fancier hotels, as well as nightclubs. It’s a very westernized area and you may find yourself staying a lot longer than you thought.

Day 3: Start by seeing the Shrine of Sidi Abderrahman. Built on a rock off shore, well past The Corniche, it is only accessible at low tide. The shrine itself is off-limits to non-muslims, but visitors are permitted to explore the tiny, medina-like neighborhood that has sprung up around it. If you need to do some last-minute shopping, head back to Medina, otherwise enjoy the quiet life around this tranquil part of town and feast on a traditional supper before you head home.

Day 4: Make your way back for transfers homeward bound.
