Nautival Maritime festival

This event is a celebration of all aspects of the sea, providing the central theme for the participating sailors, craftsmen, collectors, painters, photographers and authors. etc. Nautival is held at the marina, with shows, taster courses in water sports and marine leisure pursuits, walks along the 'customs officers' trail' and boat trips. The celebration is rounded off by a boat blessing ceremony and a torch lit procession in honour of the Virgin Mary. The event happens in the month of May.
