Geographical location of Costa Rica

Costa Rica is located on the Central America isthmus between the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean and it borders Nicaragua to the north and Panama to the south south-east.

Languages of Costa Rica

Spanish is the native language though many of the Afro-Caribbean descendants also brought English which is spoken less commonly.

Currency of Costa Rica

The legal tender is the Costa Rican colón which trades at around 800 to the Euro. In 2006 the government brought in measures to reduce trading of US dollars.
