Aphrodite Half Marathon

The Aphrodite half marathon along the shore of Paphos in Cyprus is run by the Cyprus Health Runners club and staged annually. Medals, certificates and t-shirts are on offer to all competitors to finish the course, with trophies for the first three athletes across the finishing line. A cash prize is presented to the top man and woman. Bands provide entertainment during and after the races and free beer, wine, juice and fresh fruit are served at the finish line. The night before the race is a pasta party and a gala dinner for the post-race celebrations to present the prizes.
