From November to February
The weather in June and July is very hot in this marvellous Renaissance city and some prefer to visit in September and October, which could be classed as a winter sun holiday in Florence. During the months of November to February the place is pretty deserted of tourists, but it is possible to book a nice hotel there, should you want to visit when it is very quiet. Some of the attractions will be closed though. Whatever month you opt to visit, the piazzas and parks, and the medieval streets, monuments of historical figures and the old bridge will still be there for you to admire, so a holiday in Florence is always a well considered choice.
