City breaks to Florida is ideal for shopping, entertainment and pure relaxation all of which are incredibly accessible in terms of flying options, travelling time and affordability. Many cities have a wealth of theatres and venues for a wide range of shows, authentic gourmet restaurants from all cultures and many other activities to entertain you. Best shopping is found at Aventura Mall in Sunny Isles. For designer discount outlets go to the Dolphin Mall and for more upmarket boutique shopping try Bal Harbour. The whole area of South Beach is dotted with interesting shops.
There are excellent restaurants throughout the city. Just about every world cuisine can be found here. About an hour’s drive away is the Everglades National Park and Key Largo. Nearby Watson Island has a number of kid friendly attractions. The brand new Miami Children’s Museum is full of interactive exhibits to keep the family amused. For the hottest nightlife in Miami try the bars on Ocean Drive- fabulous live music and Latin dancing on the bar top. In between the bars are excellent clothes shops and some excellent restaurants street side cafes and art galleries. The area had been run down for many years but in the last 10 years the art deco hotels and building have been revived.
All this activity is close to a long wide sandy beach with excellent swimming.
