Florida is the home to many lakes, rivers and of course sea water. Water Skiing is an acquirable skill. It is no different than learning to type, draw or play a musical instrument. However it must be learned in steps and stages. A lesson is not a test. Just relax and be yourself. Be prepared and understand that the learning process takes a little time unless you are a PRO. You can find quality water sports (especially water skiing) at Lake Buena Vista near Kissimmee, Florida - which happens to be on the same road as Downtown Disney. Not at all far away from the major attractions. Not to mention the fact that you get to play on the water. The facilities and atmosphere is very relaxed. There is a sand volleyball court to spend some time and a beach to enjoy. It's perfect for killing time if you have to wait for any reason.
