Goa on foot, is a good way to get to see everything, browse and chat with the locals. Walking in Goa is relatively easily even though some of the footpaths are still slightly under developed. As long as you stick to walking in the day time and look out for pot holes you should be safe. If it all gets too much it will usually be very easy to hail a motorbike taxi as I’m sure you will get a few offers on route anyhow. You will be more prone to getting accosted by beggars along the way when you are on foot but it is generally safe to walk in Goa.
