From January to December
Thanks to one of the biggest student populations in Spain, Granada has a seriously vibrant bar and club scene. The liveliest bar action is to be found around Calle de Ellvira. For clubbing, head for Plaza Nueva. Being Spain, nothing gets going here till late, but when it does get going, things keep pumping until the small hours. If you arrive expecting a party when the students are all on holiday you might be a little disappointed. Most students return to their home towns during the holidays and the bar scene can be quieter.
