Although the Parachuting Club of Finland is based in Helsinki, their drop zone is actually in the city of Hanko, which is about an hour and a half away from Helsinki. If you contact them in advance they can often arrange for a Finnish jumper to take you out there. They are able to rent you gear if you need it and it’s possible to book to stay at their bunkhouse in Hanko, which has a sauna, bar and room for camping if you’d prefer to bring your own tent. The Club only deals with experienced jumpers, however, and you’ll need to take your skydiving license and your jump logbook with you.
