Ice hockey is Helsinki’s big spectator sport, and the two city teams, Jokerit and HIFK, command massive and loyal followings. Hartwall Arena is the home of Jokerit (it’s also a popular gig venue), while the Helsinki Ice Hall houses rivals HIFK. Tickets for matches start at around 10 euros and the season runs from around the end of September to April.
