Booking an apartment in Ibiza is the option that most holidaymakers plump for as it gives you more freedom and the prices are always better value, particularly between May and September, when the island gets busy and more expensive. Do ensure that you book ahead if you want to travel during the busier months. There are some excellent value apartments overlooking San Antonio Harbour and prices start at around 20 to 25 euros per room, depending on when you holiday. Santa Eulalia has a more chilled out vibe, with its café culture, plus some great accommodation to choose from, as does Figueretas, which boasts a long, sandy beach, not far from most of the apartment buildings. Most apartments do offer balconies with views, but you get what you pay for so if you pay less, don’t expect the views to be panoramic. For the plusher apartments expect to pay anything upwards of 300 euros a week. In July and August it could be more, again depending on where you stay. All in all, apartments in Ibiza are fantastic value and of a high standard.
