Hiking / Walking in Indonesia

Indonesia is stunningly beautiful and a perfect destination for walking enthusiasts who love the great outdoors. There are a vast variety of walks to enjoy from trekking in the jungle, crater trekking on one of the smouldering volcanoes, a stroll through enchanting rainforests, exploring hidden caves and even tribe trekking. There are plenty of guided tours which unveil some of the archipelago's hidden treasures and provide insightful and interesting information about the Indonesian's culture and history. Note however that humidity in the dry season in Indonesia is high and the torrential downpours during the wet season can be a bit of a dampener, so most guided tours only take 2 or 3 hours.
