Try to find a hotel with one of the idyllic locations, affording stunning views of Mount Merapi (the sacred mountain of Java), Seribu Mountain and Java's beautiful landscape.
Day 6: Have breakfast at your hotel before departing for a full-day tour of Borobudur and Prambanan. Borobudur is the largest Buddhist temple and one of the best-preserved ancient monuments. The architectural style found at Borobudur has no equal throughout the world. The Prambanan temple is regarded as the most elegant of Hindu shrines and the largest Hindu structure in Java.
Days 7-8: After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the airport for a flight to Bali. If you’re feeling particularly flush, there are lots of luxurious spas here waiting to pamper you. Spend a couple of days either soaking up the relaxation or exploring the local region.

Driving towards Munduk, there are stunning views of the twin lakes of Bali before you arrive in Banjar to experience the hot springs for which this village is famous. Lovina, you’ll want to visit, an area famous for its early morning sightings of playful dolphins, complete with a stunning beac. You can visit Bali too, once the Dutch capital.
Day 12: Depart the hotel and head to Bali’s southern tip. Tours start with a visit to Jenggala, a fine ceramic manufacturer, located in Jimbaran. Next its “Garuda Wisnu Kencana”, a cultural park. Move onto the southernmost part of Bali, home of the famous Pura Luhur Uluwatu, the region’s most illustrious temple. Watch the huge waves roll in from the Indian Ocean and crash against the cliffs – and keep an eye out for the cheeky monkeys.
