Hostels in Kenya

Again, there are quite a variety of hostels and guest houses in Kenya but the standards are extremely variable and are sometimes located in rough areas, not recommended for the lone female traveller. Accommodation in the Kenya hostels and guest houses is fairly basic but usually includes a bathroom and breakfast, with prices starting at about US$10 a night. The only hostel with Hostelling International (HI) is in Nairobi but there are plenty of other youth hostels including a few YMCA and YWCA.
