Puerto del Carmen is one of the most popular destinations in Lanzarote, divided into the New Town and Old Town sections and the surrounding landscape is made up of the most unusual and intriguing volcanic caves which you can explore during one of the many excursions available on the island.
A cultural holiday on Lanzarote could perhaps include a classical concert, which are held throughout the year and one of the performance locations is actually a cave, called Cueva de los Verdes. Lanzarote cultural tour excursions are available to all the top attractions, such as a half day trip to the Cesar Manrique Foundation in Tachiche near Costa Teguise. Once the home of Manrique, it also houses a collection of contemporary art, including many works by the artist himself.
