Most wine lists offer a selection of both locally produced and mainland Spanish wines and there are a number of good quality red, white and rose wines which are produced on Lanzarote, such as El Grifo and Bermejo. It is not very usual to find wines from France, Italy or other countries on wine lists in Lanzarote, as they are proud of their local fine produce.
As for dining out, Playa Blanca itself has a lovely long promenade, scattered with restaurants, chilled out bars and shops and a range of hotels providing nightly entertainment, including flamenco and live music. The restaurants here are varied - everything from A La Carte and Italian to Indian, Chinese and Japanese, which you will find in all the main resorts. Food and drink in Lanzarote is fairly priced but not cheap and a 3 course meal for two, with wine, costs around 45 euros. And of course, fruity sangria is served everywhere.
