Nightlife in Lanzarote, Canary Islands

Puerto del Carmen boasts Lanzarote's most enthralling nightlife, with plenty of live music and disco bars, some of which stay open pretty much all night. The best place by far in this area is the funky Hawaiian Bar, which isn’t actually Hawaiian in its decor, but plays funk and soul music and mixes a good Mojito.

The main centres of nightlife in Puerto del Carmen are the Centro Atlantico on the Avenida de las Playas (the main strip), plus the area near the gorgeous harbour, where you will also find numerous lively bars in which to enjoy the tipple of your choice while listening – or dancing to - club tunes and European hits. Nightlife in Lanzarote never disappoints and In Playa Blanca, the most vibrant areas are the Centro Comercial Papagayo (near Playa Dorada) and the Centro Comercial Punto Limones (beside the port). The Marina Rubicon is where the more sophisticated cocktail bars can be found, providing a quiet rest from the busy Lanzarote nightlife provided in the more well known and packed resorts.
