There are two ways to take a camping holiday in Las Vegas: 1. traditionally where you are in the midst of a beautiful natural campsite under the starry skies or 2. Vegas-style right on The Strip. There are several campsites and national parks & recreation areas in and around Las Vegas, the most popular ones being Lake Mead, Red Rock, Mt. Charleston, and Valley of Fire. Fees are per vehicle and range from $5 to $20 and reservations are highly advised for the popular summer months when camping holidays are at their peak. Each campsite offers unique camping experiences such as hiking, boating, kayaking, fishing, rock climbing, abseiling, and much more. If you’re not feeling that adventurous and prefer a bit more amenities, then perhaps pulling your RV onto the campgrounds at the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino on The Strip would be more to your liking. Spaces at the campground can be as low as $20 a night and you can even rent an Airstream RV to camp in for $80 a night if you don’t have your own... a true slice of the Americana camping experience.
