Suggested Itinerary

Not just a city filled to the brim with glitz, glamour and big-time performances, Vegas is surprisingly accommodating for those with families and with a love of the outdoors. You’ve just got to know where to look.

Day 1: Strip Time. Depending on where you are staying, you can just walk or take the Las Vegas Monorail. Here, the hotels and casinos are not only a place to rest your head and play black jack, they provide entertainment in themselves, with gorgeous arcades, spas, and crazy fountains and attractions.

For the evening’s entertainment, hit the town and take in an over-the-top spectacular Vegas show. Choices are many, but a few of the most popular include Le Rêve at Wynn Las Vegas, Beatles ode The Fab Four at the Aladdin Hotel, and the always entertaining Blue Man Group at the Venetian Resort Casino.

Day 2: Many people tend to forget that Las Vegas is actually situated in one of the most beautiful natural desert landscapes you could possibly wish for and there are many hidden gems in this dusty paradise. Lake Mead and Hoover Dam are top of the list of nearby landmarks. The Hoover Dam Deluxe Tour is bound to be a highlight of your trip. You'll get to take in the beauty of Lake Mead, the largest manmade lake in the country, and explore the art-deco, New Deal project and its fascinating history.

Red Rock Canyon, just 20 miles and a world away from the lights and artifice of Vegas, is another must-see. A scenic loop and hiking trails are open to visitors. Though if you fancy a bit more of a hands-on approach, the ATV Off-Road Desert Adventure puts you control of your own ATV, heading over the dunes and taking in the stunning views.

At night, take a magnificent helicopter ride above Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Night Strip Helicopter Tour begins with a glass of bubbly and then it's up, up and away, above the Strip for a new perspective on the twinkling city.

Day 3: What visit to Vegas would be complete without checking out the Grand Canyon? Its dramatic scenery enthralls even the most jaded visitors and leaves all who witness it somehow changed. Head there by helicopter, airplane, Hummer or bus. There are a variety of tours and day trips to the Grand Canyon. Visit the Grand Canyon's newest attraction - the Grand Canyon Skywalk, suspended 4,000 feet above the canyon floor, providing visitors with a staggering 720-degree view.
If you fancy staying more central, pick up a Las Vegas Power Pass for the day, offering great discounts at the various array of glitzy attractions like the Liberace Museum, Madame Tussauds, Neon Museum and Fremont Street Experience.
Spend your last night in Vegas away from the lure of the slot machines and pickup the Ultimate Nightclub Hopping Package, giving you access to the hottest clubs in town with no queuing or velvet ropes. You’ll sleep well when you get home.

Day 4: What better way to spend your last day here than by visiting one of the fabulously-stocked shopping malls in-time for those last minute gifts. And if you’re really feeling lucky, maybe a final flutter as you leave The City of Sin.
