Football (soccer) is the main spectator sport in Lisbon, with the most popular teams being Sporting and Benfica. There are also many other local teams and minor divisions. Other popular spectator sports in Lis-bon are Formula 1 at the nearby Estoril Race Track (Autodrome) and bullfighting. Unlike in Spain, the bulls are not killed in the ring, but may be slaughtered afterwards. Many people in Lisbon and abroad consider bullfighting a cruel and barbaric sport.
