When to go to Lisbon, Portugal

Peak season for a Lisbon holiday is during the summer months, which are sunny, dry and can get hot, though the cool waters of the beach are not far from hand. This time is of course the most crowded and can be a bit more expensive. Lisbon has fantastic weather and can be a great off-peak destination as well, with winter sun and not too much rain.
