Tahiti is an island with many rivers, so it is surrounded by water, and is an ideal place to fish. Marlin, tuna, bonito and mahi mahi can be caught in the waters, and boats can be chartered for deep sea fishing. Just outside the reef there is game fishing charter boats with around 5 lines: there are experienced fishermen on board who will teach beginners and advise more experienced game fisherman about where best to fish.
