The nightlife in Tahiti is centred round the capital city of Papeete on the seafront. The clubs have flexible closing times, and tend to close when everyone has left, so during the week it is between 1 and 2 am and at the weekend they open are open all night. There are about a dozen bars, nightclubs and night cafes in the vicinity all in walking distance of each other, so you can easily move from venue to venue and dance the night away until the sun rises.
