Copenhagen: Golf

The Paris of the North

Copenhagen and its surrounding areas offer a haven for golf enthusiasts. The greater Copenhagen region is home to 35 golf courses, each with its own distinctive character, design and degree of difficulty, ranging from 9 holes up to 27 holes. There are many pay-and-play courses for families available, as well as golf-ranges particularly if you are not a regular golfer.

Most of the golf clubs rent out equipment and have professional coaches both for beginners and for more experienced players. Popular places to golf are the Royal Copenhagen Golf Club, where you will see deer almost everywhere and Ledreborg Palace (designed by Nick Faldo). Players should bring any membership cards, scorecards/handicap certificates etc.
