Costa Blanca: Backpacking

The White Coast

Backpacking is one of the cheapest ways of travelling long the eastern edge of Spain, and the Costa Blanca offers facilities for this type of traveller. For those looking for a hostel, these do exist, but their supply is limited, and therefore a campsite which is in greater supply is generally a more popular alternative. Transport connections are good for a backpacking holiday on the Costa Blanca, especially if travelling by train. Buses are sometimes the only way to reach inland villages, and taxis are in plentiful supply and are also a relatively inexpensive way of getting around. The numerous beaches along the coast are an ideal way to meet likeminded travelers and provide the opportunity for low-cost entertainment and a chance to relax before setting off to the next town or city during a backpacking holiday on the Costa Blanca.
