Granada: Gay and Lesbian
A City in the Southern province of Andalucia
People in Granada generally have a relaxed attitude toward homosexuality making it a good city for a gay holiday. It may not be as open as Gran Canaria, but Granada’s certainly no prudish back water either. The city has an enormous variety of bars and clubs which range from gay and lesbian friendly to exclusively gay. Hitting the bars in Granada is a treat as it’s generally inexpensive and if you get peckish, the tapas are usually free. Accommodation’s good and ranges from the cheap and cheerful to the plush and expensive. And when it comes to sightseeing, Granada offers a vast amount of fabulous historical sights, including Spain’s most visited attraction – the Alhambra.
