Havana: Bus Tours
Capital of Cuba
A bus tour in Havana will give you an unparalleled view of the city. Introduced as recently as 2008, and inspired by the legendary London bus tours, new double decker buses now whisk people around the bumpy streets of Havana. Passing landmarks such as Revolution Plaza, The Havana Hilton (renamed the Havana Libre after being seized by Castro during the revolution) and many others, a bus tour of Havana is a true highlight of any trip. As yet there are only 3 double deckers in service, but more are planned. The buses are also very cheap, and provide the most direct routes to some of the beautiful beaches to the east of Havana. The buses cover a total of 95 miles on three separate routes, and operate a ‘hop-on hop-off’ system. A bus tour of Havana will cost you very little, and is one of the best ways to get around the city.
