Jamaica Fishing

Although fishing isn’t one of the first things which spring to mind in relation to Jamaica, the Caribbean Sea makes it a very interesting place for anglers. There is a wide array of fish, largely because of the variety of underwater landscape across the island. The waters of north Jamaica are known for sport, and deep-sea fishing, and are home to fish like marlin, bonito and barracudas. Hotels located north of the island even offer deep-sea fishing facilities and boat charter options. You can even hire boat for between €264 - €903, which will include a captain, crew, bait, tackle and soft drinks. But you don’t have to go too far out to enjoy fishing in Jamaica: you can catch bonefish from the beach, in many cases.
