Jamaica: When to go
Clear seas, Cocktails, Rastafarianism and Reggae
Weather-wise, there really isn’t a bad time to go to Jamaica; although it tends to be more humid and rainy during the summer months, and hurricane season is usually between 1 June and November 30. There are other factors to consider when going to Jamaica, however: Jamaica’s high season runs from December through to April because of people fleeing colder climbs. Off season during mid-April and mid-December can see hotel prices fall between 20 – 60%. You may also want to choose another time to go to Jamaica other than spring break, between March and mid-April, when the island becomes a haven for high school and college students from the US looking to party.
