Mountains, deserts, colourful tribal culture, beaches, coral reefs and wildlife

Kenya Surfing

This is fast becoming one of the most popular activities in the world, and the trade winds on the Kenya coast provide perfect conditions for enthusiasts of the sport. Nyali Beach, just north of Mombasa, is the most popular location with 11.5km of white sand and a reef providing a natural lagoon, and in February is host to the Meak Charity Kitesurf Extreme event.
