A volcanic moonscape
Golfing in Lanzarote is rather impressive now and the first course on the Island is in Costa Teguise, was opened in 1978. The second golf course in Lanzarote is less than a two minute drive from the bustling resort of Puerto del Carmen. It is a par 72, 18-hole course with a total length of 6040 metres and features Par 3 holes with ranges from145 m to 160m, Par 4 holes from 307 metres to 430 metres and Par 5 holes from 435m to 465m.
